Petticoat Creek Conservation Park

Location and Directions

  • Petticoat Creek Conservation Park is located in Pickering, just about a 20-minute drive from NYCBC.

  • After arrival, head to the gatehouse, where you need to pay admission fee (see below

  • After the gatehouse, follow the sign and drive 400m to Maple, which is our reserved picnic site

  • Washroom is about 3 min walk from our picnic site

 

Admission Fee

  • Park admission is collected per car (not per head) at the gate. You can pay by credit or debit card; cash is not accepted at the park

  • Passenger Vehicle (1 to 7 people)  : $25.20

  • Large Van  (8+ people) : $45.90

  • Carpooling is recommended

What to bring

  • All attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch, Fellowships are encouraged to organize their own potluck. 

  • Small amount of hot dog, snacks and drinks will be available for purchase

  • Bring a picnic blanket and lawn chair. The picnic site has 10+ picnic tables, not enough for everyone.

  • Feel free to bring games and sports equipment such as:

    • Card games, board games

    • Kites, badminton rackets, water guns, skipping ropes, Frisbies, water toys

    • Sports - soccer, baseball, volleyball, frisbee, football, bikes
