春榮秋謝又五載，忙著過悠閑的退休生活中有所期待！盼望每週四的摺紙班活動。新舊同學置身班中，樂也融融地研究各類作品，有說有笑，可令人忘卻煩囂的麈世。她們醉心於摺紙的創作，有摺豬，有摺貓，有摺兔，甚至摺出栩栩如生的金龍。摺紙真是一種令人著迷的手藝，繁瑣辛勞但不纏身，令悠閑的歲月倍怡人，魅力之處能將廢紙變成價值無限的藝術品，更能訓練思維能力，無論送禮自用都是一種極佳的家居擺設。歡迎加入我們的興趣班行列，發揮你們潛在的藝術細胞，享受創作時的喜悅和滿足，給自己退休生活加添情趣，達到巧手者無憂，休閒者無愁的養生之道。

Seasons have come and gone, and five years have passed so quickly. I was looking forward to a leisurely retirement life! Every Thursday, I look forward to attending the Paper Folding Class. Students in the class take great interest in studying all kinds of paper products. They would talk and laugh together, and would forget all the troubles they may have to face when outside of the classroom. They would eagerly come out with many different types of paper products, such as a little pig, a kitten, a bunny or even a lifelike golden dragon!  Paper folding is a fascinating handicraft, involving much details without tying you up, making it a pleasant leisurely activity. It is attractive because it can turn waste paper into an invaluable piece of art, and can train our minds. The products can be gifted to friends or used by oneself as artistic décor in the home. You can make full use of your artistic potential, enjoy the satisfaction of creating something, and have fun in your retirement years. You can even attain a worry-free life style throughout the years with the skills learned.

     摺紙是一種極具魅力而令人著迷的手工藝，它能令廢紙重生，將一張張無用的雜誌紙摺成價值無限的藝術品，除了令人心醉外，還是對環保的聲援行動！它更能陶冶性情，訓練思維能力，喚醒你潛在的藝術細胞，摺出栩栩如生的動物，以及多姿多彩的生活用品，令你享受創作時的喜悦及製作後的滿足與自豪，這是對品味生活的另一種欣賞啊！

     上課時，我俩指導學員的摺紙技巧，同時亦從他們身上學到許多寶貴的東西，體會到教學相長，裨益良多！學員將自己心愛的作品贈送别人，這是無私的精神。有患病者仍繼續上課，這是堅持的精神。彼此互相幫助，有說有笑，這是和諧的精神。在這年半的光景中，我俩越幹越起勁，這都是學員對我俩的支持和肯定。我俩每每期待星期四的來臨，相信各位也是。歡迎你加入我們的興趣班行列！

      Paper art is an attractive and fascinating handicraft. Pieces of useless magazine paper are folded into charming and precious art form! It is also a solidarity action supporting the environment! It helps us to build up an appreciation for beauties, train our thinking abilities, and awaken our artistic potentials. This is another way to appreciate and enjoy life! We teach our students the skills in paper folding, and at the same time, we also learn valuable lessons from them. Some students would give their beloved art work to others; this is an act of selflessness. They continued to come to class even when they were sick, and that demonstrated their positive attitude! They persevered in helping each other and enjoyed a harmonious time together.  

      We are getting more zealous in teaching the class due to the support and recognition given to us by the students. We look forward to coming to the class each Thursday. Please join our interest group and have fun together!
