New Experience during the Pandemic Karen To - Knitting Club

In 2020, while everyone was preparing for a new decade, a pandemic disrupted the pace of people’s lives all over the world, and I have been staying home reluctantly since March.

In mid-June, the church provided the Zoom platform. With the arrangement by the teachers and students of Community Services, the online Knitting Club reopened on July 23! With excitement, everyone talked about the current situation. Several hardworking students even shared their finished products with everyone.

While we comfortably enjoyed our online class at home, our instructor, Grace, has a lot of new skills to prepare. She has to demonstrate in front of the camera, explain patiently, and pay attention to the progress of each student. She wants to make sure that every student can really learn the skills of knitting.

Although I enjoy earning online, I still hope that the pandemic will pass quickly so that everyone can return to the classroom and experience the fun of physical learning and interaction again!
