Worship

Here at NYCBC, we believe that the purpose is to praise God, and give him glory. The number one activity of believers in Jesus Christ is worshipping together where we take the time to sing, pray, hear his word, and to respond. The weekly worship service is the gathering of believers to praise God for saving us from sin through Jesus Christ. Come and see what it’s all about!

The English Speaking Community worship service takes place each Sunday, 9:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the church’s main auditorium. For more information about our Sunday Service, click here.

Interested in Helping Out?
Anyone who is interested in getting involved in the Worship Team, reach out to us! We are looking for singers, instrumentalists and Sunday service ushers. You don’t have to be a musician to be a part of worship ministry as there are a number of roles and tasks that don’t need any musical experience.

Prayer

Prayer is important where we seek to be global active participants in God's daily kingdom work. We do this by gathering weekly and praying that God will carry out his promises through our prayers.

• Weekly English Speaking Community Prayer Meeting: Saturday, 9:00 to 10:00am in-person in 685 Sheppard, Room 325 or on Zoom. No need to sign-up: join us in-person or click on the link below to join the Zoom gathering.

• Monthly English Speaking Community Evening Prayer Meeting: 2nd Saturday of the month from 8:00 to 9:15pm online and/or in room 325.
