Ministry Description 事工簡介

Goal

  • To care and support brothers/sisters in Christ, to witness as salt and light to the world.  (Matt. 5:13-16, Gal 6:2)

Areas of Ministry

Care Action

  • To coordinate a voluntary help/program within the church in order to provide practical help to brothers/sisters.

Care for the Sick

  • To care for the sick brothers/sisters and their families through corporate prayer, telecare, visitation and supporting their spiritual, emotional and physical needs.

Worldwide Concerns

  • To help congregation informed and respond to worldwide issues/concerns in which they can be involved in as Christians or at least to pray.

Benevolence

  • To maintain Benevolence program within ministry and to promote among the congregations a general awareness of the objectives of the program.

事工組目的

  • 關顧並支持有需要的弟兄姊妹；在世上作鹽作光。(太5:13-16; 加6:2)

事奉崗位

關顧行動

  • 策劃關顧行動：透過有資源、有能力的弟兄姊妹，向有需要的弟兄姊妹提供資源及服務的協助，並鼓勵弟兄姊妹表達他們的難處及需要。

患病肢體關顧

  • 為患病肢體及其家人祈禱，安排電話慰問或探訪。

普世關懷

  • 讓弟兄姊妹暸解到普世社群的需要，鼓勵弟兄姊妹參與，並藉著禱告給予支持。

慈惠計劃

  • 提高教會內需要金錢或物資援助的弟兄姊妹對慈惠計劃的認知。對由於失業，就業不足或患病而有需要的弟兄姊妹提供金錢或物資上的援助。

  • CAP-M (Congregational Assistant Program Multi-Lingual) with LWCC (Living Water Counselling Centre)

2. The highlights of the activities for achieving the goals

  • Care for the Sick

  • Coordinate the pastors and ministers to care for the sick people and their families.

  • Worldwide Concerns

    • Pray for Israel, Gaza and Ukraine. 

    • “Tearfund Sunday”: 

      • Announcement was included in the Sunday e-bulletin on Oct 20, 2024, to encourage prayer and online donation.

  • CAP-M (Congregational Assistant Program Multi-Lingual) with LWCC (Living Water Counselling Centre)

  • Continue to join CAP-M; promote the CAP-M and related resources to all 3 congregations.

  • Recruit more group members

  • Invite members from ESC, MSC and CSC to join our team.

  • Care for the sick

    • Brothers and sisters and family members appreciate our care and support, they thank God for the protection and provision.

  • Worldwide Concerns

    •  “Tearfund Sunday”: Brothers and sisters appreciate the information and the opportunity to pray together.

  • CAP-M (Congregational Assistant Program Multi-Lingual) with LWCC (Living Water Counselling Centre)

    • We received very positive response.  Some brothers and sisters in need have got help through this service.

  • Recruit more group members

    • We have recruited two new members for 2025 Caring Ministry Group.

    • 統籌牧師及傳道關懷患病肢體，為他們及家人禱告。

    • 「Tearfund主日」：

      • 在2024 年10月20日之主日崇拜電子場刊裡刊登報告，泉源輔導中心 - 教會會眾輔助計劃 CAP-M

    • 繼續參加教會會眾輔助計劃；並向粵、國、英三堂介紹這輔助計劃及其他資源。

  • 招募更多事工組組員

    • 邀請英語堂、國語堂、粵語堂的弟兄姊妹加入我們的團隊。

    • 弟兄姊妹和家人感謝天父的眷顧及大家的關心。

  • 普世關懷

    • 「Tearfund主日」：弟兄姊妹很珍惜所提供的資料，並大家一起祈禱的時間。

  • 泉源輔導中心 - 教會會眾輔助計劃 CAP

    • 我們收到非常積極的回應，一些有需要的弟兄姊妹透過這服務得到幫助。

  • 招募更多事工組組員

    • 已招募兩位新組員加入2025年度的事工組。
